Ansongo Manganese Deposit

The region of Ansongo contains many manganese hills. Our permit cover a surface of 212 km² The most important manganese hills are:

Agaula : 25 Km. S.W. from Ansongo and 1,5 Km N from road

Tondibir : 28 Km. S.W from Ansongo et 3 Km. N.N.W from road

Tikanasité : 34 Km. S.W from Ansongo and 5,5 Km. E from road.

Manganese layouts are estimated at more than 7 000 000 tons. Complementary drilling could certainly prove more.

The Ansongo manganese operations utilise conventional open pit mining methodology, with operations based on production being sourced from multiple pits on the face to achieve correct blends of ores required to deliver a consistent grade of product.

Ore is mined and stockpiled then fed into the processing plant, where it is crushed, screened to produce both lump and fines products. Product is trucked to the African ports, where it is stockpiled in the Company's storage area for shipping to overseas clients.

Long-term sales agreements are presently being discussed for China and Europe covering future production.
